A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

What if Quake level mapping was a puzzle game?

Play as the Brushmancer, a powerful wizard wielding the Staff of Hammers (not to be confused with an actual hammer!) with which he can bend reality to its knees.

Challenge yourself in 5 puzzles inspired by the brush geometry systems of Radiant, Trenchbroom and Hammer Editor, testing your spatial reasoning and logical mind - or just bhop around them, if that's more your speed!

Awesome game!
found an (Easter-egg) in the hub trying to jump there last 20 mins

I loved the game!

The idea was original and was executed very well! However, I feel that most of the levels included weren't as beginner friendly as I had hoped, and some of the controls weren't mentioned in the game. Other than that though, it was really fun!

Good luck in the Game Jam guys!

awesome game! basement dweller is an incredible final level.

extruding is definitely finicky and doesn’t do what you expect half the time, but it’s workable! the jumping could also use another like inch

this was a lot of fun! I have some feedback though:

It feels really finicky to get the brushes to scale half the time.

Brushes become stuck by getting pushed up against or into walls by accident which compound frustration.

Jumping feels really difficult despite how much platforming is in the game.

If these few things are worked out I think this would have completely hit it out the park!

daymn u good! ! !

A few pieces of feedback:

I wish you could scale brushes without having to physically move the player back and forth

It should be easier to make vertical adjustments to brushes

The detection for selecting a face is a little wonky

The music and sound effects still play if the window isn't focused

These are just some minor things, I hope this game wins the jam!

Hi - thank you very much for your time playing our game, feedback and kind words. I'm extremely excited and happy to see people enjoying the game.

Since submission, we've been thinking about the same adjustments to manipulating the brushes as well - especially with mouse input.

In retrospect, a few of the ways I went about implementing the selection (and when it declares you in an invalid position for that face) can be cleaned up a lot, and it's my first priority in the future upon return after the voting period.
